H-A-R-D-S-P-E-L-L Competition

BRGS took part in H-A-R-D-S-P-E-L-L Competition, where spelling is compelling!

The competition took place at BRGS, Tuesday 21st September at lunch time.

Well done to Tom Pickup - 9N and Li Sou - 8G for reaching the Hardspell Regional Finals at the Town Hall in Manchester on Saturday 23rd Nov 2004!

H-A-R-D-S-P-E-L-L is a BBC initiative to find the best young speller in the country. The national final took place at the beginning of December 2004, where a girl from Lancashire won, by spelling the following words correctly:

Nyctophobia
Genealogical
Graffiti
Dromedary
Metamorphosis
Troglodyte
Deciduous
Resuscitate
Subpoena
Grammatical
