Tsunami Earthquake Appeal

Staff and pupils have beendonating generously and wholeheartedly to to the Tsunami Earthquake Appeal.At the beginning of the new term, we collected £964.64!!!

A big thank you to all those who are donating money, and planning events/activities which can help us raise more money for such a desperate cause.

• Year 9 Charities Committee are donating to Chernobyl Aid Group
• We are still raising money for our Sports Hall Appeal!

UPDATES ON BRGS' CONTRIBUTION TO THE TSUNAMI APPEAL:

• BRGS collected £964.64 at the beginning of January.
• 7R raised a whopping £784 by being sponsored to wear dummies!
• 7S have succeeded in raising just over £300. They carried out a sponsored silence for one day. (They did very well as they were asked to get sponsors from outside of school i.e. Family, Neighbours and Friends).
• "An Audience with Mr Elmer" on Friday 4th February lunchtime raised £145! Well done to everyone who contributed!
• 8R took part in a sponsored silence on Monday 21st, Wednesday 23rd, and Friday 25th February! They were sponsored over £180 !

TOTAL SO FAR: £2253.64
