A very close game played by two evenly matched teams.

Unfortunately, Bacup were on the wrong end of a 30-33 scoreline.

Under 16 Girls FINAL
After a very close and hard fought (almost literally at times) game Worden became the first Lancashire Schools Under 16 Girls champions.

Final score Worden 32, Bacup 28.

The scores were level 14-14 at half time but then Worden opened up 7 point gap in the third quarter. Despite outscoring their opponents in the final quarter Bacup just couldn't close the gap.

However, the team played very well, especially defensively, and deserve a great deal of credit for their efforts and skill this year.

Rachel Ashworth, Nansi Pallavus, Emma Chapman, Joanna Doherty, Simone Kelly, Verity Postlethwaite, Emily Lester and Ellie Carrick.

Under 16 Girls Basketball Final

The Under 16s girls are through to the Lancashire final after a convincing win 20-7 against Montgomery. They will play Worden School from Leyland in the final.

The Under 13s beat Primet 29 - 19 in the quarter final and play St Wilfred's at home in the semi final

The Under 15s lost 39 - 48 to Lytham in quarter final.
