As part of their English lessons, pupils in Year 9 study Shakespeare's history play, 'Richard III'. To conclude their work on this play, 9R produced a modern day role play in which some of the characters were brought back to life to appear on Jeremy Kyle's chat show to discuss their problems.

Miss Strickland's class excelled themselves in preparing comical scripts with creative dialogue exchanges and well-rehearsed action scenes, along with elaborate costumes and props for the performance; the photographs bare witness to the fantastic commitment of the students in 9R to this task.

Overall, the class thoroughly enjoyed the experience which showcased their dedication, sophisticated understanding of the play and exceptional potential.
