Lancashire Schools’ Cross Country

On February 7th, 2009,Our talented runners took part in the Lancashire Schools’ Cross Country event together with students from over 100 other schools.

It was held at Witton Park in Blackburn on a frosty day with a frozen ground underfoot. Congratulations to Sam Tosh who ran an outstanding race for the U19 boys and was placed 2nd. The top six runners go forward to the national championships and so our best wishes go to Sam and we look forward to following his progress. Congratulations also to Rebecca Flanagan who was placed 8th in the Year 7 girls’ race.
