Year 8 Pink Cake Sale October 2009

On October 15th 2009, members of Year 8 organised a Pink Cake sale to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care. Year 8 students were invited to bring pink themed cakes into school. The cakes were judged by Mr Morris and put on sale the next day.

Pictured are the winners of the competition receiving their prizes of chocolate from Mr Morris and the organisers Savannah Haworth and Bethany Jones who said:-

"Thank you to everyone who participated - both entrants and those who bought cakes for a good worthy cause - and to all who helped us by serving and organising."

the event raised £177.33 for Breast Cancer Care
