Burnley Football Experience December 2009

At the end of last term a group of ten boys and girls chosen from Years 7 to 10 enjoyed a fantastic opportunity to take part in a Burnley F.C. training session, organized by Barclays Bank, sponsors of the Premiership side.

Manager Owen Coyle and a first team player were present during this session.

The object was for our young people to learn a few football skills and meet their football heroes. There was also the chance for a Q& A with the manager and player and photograph/autograph time.

We are grateful to John Stanworth, Barclays Commercial Director for Lancashire (who has two sons at school) for this wonderful opportunity. The chosen ten came back buzzing with excitement!
