Year 8 Trip to Germany October 2010

On October 19th 2010 39 Year 8 pupils made their annual 5 day trip to the Moselle Valley in Germany.

They visited the Roman City of Trier which is also a superb centre for shopping. They also experienced an exciting day in the Phantasialand theme park, with rides to suit everyone.

Evening activities included events such as a disco, a quiz night and a talent competition and an opportunity to “Pimp my Teacher”.

The final day included a visit to Castle Eltz and the town of Cochem on the banks of the Moselle. Castle Eltz is one of the most photogenic castles in Germany, and Cochem was the last opportunity to buy souvenirs before the long journey home.
