Autumn Music Concert 2011

WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 12TH, Autumn Music Concert
After the success of last year, the Music Department once again held the autumn concert in the form of the Young Musician of the Year 2011 final showcasing the talents of 17 individual students.

Alongside soloists, the guests also heard performances from the Wind and Brass Bands as well as a piano performance by Ronan Pilkington.
The judges had very difficult decisions to make and the winners
finally announced were:

Lower School – Imogen Siemens (violin)
Middle School – Cerys Gregory (flute)
Upper School – Rachel Haworth (piano)

The other finalists performing during the evening concert were:
Lower School – Emma Booth, Sophie Milton, Joe Martin, Chris Bretherton
Middle School – Hugh Spencer, Tom Bennett, Hannah Birtwell, Katy Wright, Ygraine Siemens
Upper School – Matthew Beazley, Rebecca Allcock, Rees Davison, Gavin Bottacin, Chalcedony Williams.
