A Level Results  ‐ 2012

  • The overall pass rate at A*‐E, excluding General Studies, was 98.4%.
  • The overall achievement at A* to B was 60%.
  • The overall achievement at A*/A was 29%.
  • 48 students achieved the excellent standard of three or more passes at grade A*/A. This constitutes almost 20% of the year group.
  • 26 students, more than 10% of the year group, achieved 4 or more A*/A’s.
  • 11 students have achieved 5 or more A*/A.
  • 5 students have  achieved 6 A*/A
  • The results mean that 6 students will enter Oxbridge next year.

GCSE Level Results ‐ 2012

  • 99% of our Year 11 students achieved 5 or more A* to C grades.
  • 98% achieved 5 or more A* to C grades including English and Mathematics.
  • 64% of our students achieved 5 A*/A including English and Maths.
  • 22% of all grades were at A* level.
  • 57% of all grades were at A*/A.
  • 83% of all grades were at A* to B.
  • Our English Baccalaureate figure, the percentage of students achieving an A* to C in English, Mathematics, Science (dual award or two single Science subjects), a humanities subject and a MFL subject, was 75%.
  • 95 students from a year group of 149 achieved 5 or more A*/A grades. This equates to 64% of the year group.
  • 36 students achieved 5 or more A* grades, an increase from last year; 24% of the year group.
  • 25 students achieved all A* or A grades; 17% of the year group.
