The Big Bang Fair 2013

Year 12 student Asanish Kalyanasundaram was a finalist in the National Science and Engineering Competition held at the Big Bang Fair in London on the 14th - 15th March. Asanish's project title was 'An evaluation of the potential of genetic engineering to create 'Super Cells' in conjunction with stem cells.'  This high profile competition was judged by experts from industry, academia and education including celebrity judges Professor Brian Cox OBE, Kate Bellingham, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE, Sir Tim Hunt and Professor Ada Yonath.
