Valencia 2014

The Year 10 and 11 football teams travelled to Valencia during the February half term where they were attached to Valencia Football Club.  The club provided the teams with their coaches for five days of coaching and matches against local Spanish sides.

The Spanish sides proved too strong for the under strength BRGS teams but the matches were very competitive and a great experience.

The highlight of the trip was the La Liga fixture between Valencia and Grenada.  Valencia winning 2-1 with a last minute winner.

Both teams returned to England to win their first round Rossendale Cup matches 5-0 and 8-0.
