BRGS in Department for Education Performance Tables

The annual release of Department for Education performance tables show the following excellent outcomes for BRGS:

At GCSE level:

• BRGS is in the top 10 schools nationally with our English Baccalaureate achievement (i.e. the top 0.16% of schools)
• Top 2.9% of schools nationally for attainment (5 A*-C including English and Maths) & 4th in Lancashire
• 3rd in Lancashire for average point score per student (best 8 subjects at GCSE) & 3rd in Lancashire for average total point score.
• 4th in Lancashire for expected progress in Maths (3 Levels of Progress) & 6th in Lancashire for expected progress in English (3 Levels of Progress)

At A level:

• In the top 3.5% nationally for total average point score per student
• 3rd in Lancashire for average point score per student
• 2nd in Lancashire for at least 3 A Levels at A*-E
