Biggest Book Show on Earth

Language for Learning Leaders visited Preston North End yesterday for the Biggest Book Show on Earth: one of the key events to celebrate World Book Day with 5,000 pupils in attendance representing 98 schools.  There were various celebrated children’s authors present including Frank Cottrell Boyce (famous for scriptwriting as well as children’s books), Cathy Cassidy, Cressida Cowell, Jonny Duddle and Danny Wallace.

Cressida Cowell is particularly well known for her book, How to Train a Dragon, which has been made into two successful Hollywood movies.
