Footballing success
28 April 2015
Our Year 7 Girls' Football Team performed magnificently to reach the final 32 in the English Schools' Football Association Cup which took place on the 27th April in Harrogate. They lost their match 1-2, but should be very proud of themselves and their top-level achievement.
In the early rounds they beat Haslingden High School 4-0 and Broadwood School from Manchester 9-0. Just before half term they had a four hour round trip to Walney Island in Cumbria where they beat Walney High School 2-1 in a very close game with both goals scored by Grace Mills. Their run came to an end in the last 32 at country stage against John Fisher School in Harrogate.
