Alan Porteous, Headteacher, said “We are proud and delighted that the results achieved by our Year 11 students this year continue our sustained record of outstanding academic attainment, with our highest ever percentage of students achieving the highest A* grade: 27% of all grades at A*. Clearly these excellent results have not been achieved without a huge amount of hard work and commitment from both our students and staff, and we congratulate them on their achievements. Nearly all of our Year 11 students are staying on into BRGS Sixth Form and these successes should enable them to approach their A level studies with real confidence and self-belief. We look forward to welcoming them back along with many more local students to our Sixth Form in September.”
