Grandparents' Day 2015

Year 7 students had the opportunity to invite a grandparent for the morning / afternoon, to share the experience of their lessons and new school with them. Feedback from grandparents was excellent and we are grateful for the many letters of thanks with comments such as:

"A fantastic opportunity to see her in her school surroundings."
"A thoroughly enjoyable morning with all made to feel welcome; we commented on the friendly atmosphere in the school."
"I enjoyed the modern approach to teaching and was impressed by the maturity and politeness of all pupils that I encountered."
"The children really enjoy their lessons and the interaction with their teachers."
"A wonderful morning - I wish I could have stayed for the whole day. Wonderful school."

Thank you to the many grandparents who travelled long distances to see their grandchildren on the day.
