England U16 Hockey Gold Medallist

Ibrahim Omar has gained a Gold Medal in the England U16 Hockey Championships with Bowdon Hockey Club. 

Bowdon had a tough group in the draw which included previous year's Champions Surbiton.  However, after remaining unbeaten in the group stages, Bowdon narrowly progressed to the final by surpassing Surbiton's goal difference by one goal.  In the final, Bowdon met a strong Fareham Hockey side and after a closely fought game, Bowdon managed to come out on top winning 4-2 and becoming National Champions!  A massive achievement for Bowdon Hockey Club and also for Ibrahim!
