Dotty wins Writing Awards

Congratulations to BRGS student Dotty who won the overall first prize for story craft and research in the Moorforge Writing Competition as well as winning the secondary age poem competition at the Todmorden Lantern Festival.

The national Moorforge Writing Competition was for children and adults to write a fireside tale to be told in a longhouse on a Viking theme and the local poetry competition at Todmorden Lantern Festival required a poem of less than 50 words on the theme of Little Lanterns.
