World Mental Health Day
10 October 2021
This year's World Mental Health Day had the theme 'mental health in an unequal world'. Due to the pandemic, people's mental health has been affected differently with those with long term health conditions, those facing discrimination and those living by themselves or parenting alone facing considerable challenges. More broadly, World Mental Health Day is a chance to reflect on mental health and how we need to look after it and talk things through if we are struggling.
As part of a broad mental health strategy students have been introduced to Zumos, an online service, which intends to build self-confidence and well-being, allowing students to practise being mindful and building resilience to enable us all to deal with life's inevitable challenges.
