Rossendale Schools Cross Country Competition

The weather was gloriously cold with clear skies and plenty of mud due to rainy antecedent weather at Marl Pits.  The scene was set for the Rossendale Schools Cross Country Competition. 

Slippery conditions meant some runners slipped at the start when the horn sounded but all gave it 100% in their respective races.  Students from Year 7-11 participated with the competition organised thanks to Rossendale Schools Sports Partnership.  Pictured is our Year 7 team which includes district champions from the day - Ruby and Isaac!  Very well done to all.
