JCB Business Degree Apprentice and Former Student returned to BRGS for National Apprenticeship Week

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, JCB gifted and planted 78 trees at schools around the UK, from our various apprentices’ origins; 78 marks 78 years since JCB was founded, and the spread of the trees represents the wide geographical spread which JCB employs from.  

Former student and JCB Business Degree Apprentice Ioan Evans visited BRGS on the 24th February to plant an oak tree in recognition of their apprenticeship scheme.  Ioan also provided information and advice during a Year 11 assembly followed by talks to our Year 12 A Level Business Studies classes as well as informal opportunities to chat to a number of our sixth form students in the Sixth Form Centre. 

Many students were inspired by Ioan's career journey and were interested to learn more about his route to employment.
