Poem on Hope
BRGS Charities Committee ran a writing competition on the theme of hope. Congratulations to all those who entered but there could only be one winning entry and this was from Dotty Davies in Year 8 with her poem titled 'A Winter Storm'.
Professor Brian S Hartley
Described as a "truly brilliant and inspirational scientist" by Emeritus Professor Howard R. Morris, former BRGS student Professor Brian Selby Hartley died at home on the 3rd May 2021.
Cambridge Debating Competition
Four sixth form students participated in the annual Cambridge Schools' Debating Competition.

February is LGBTQ+ Month - an informative and celebratory month educating against prejudice and making LGBT+ people, in all their rich diversity, visible.
Holocaust Memorial Day
Year 9 students participated in a Live Webcast with Holocaust Survivor Eve Kugler BEM in advance of Holocaust Memorial Day on the 27th January.

During lockdown, one of our Year 11 students, Ruby, entered the Nancy Rothwell Award.
