Do you want to train to be a secondary school teacher?
School-centred initial teacher training has become increasingly popular in recent years allowing you to be placed in a school right from the start.
BRGS is a member of the East Lancashire Teaching School Alliance. If you would like to train to teach the Pennine Way then do click on the logo below for further information.
An alternative school-based route is the Ripley PGCE. Ripley's vision is to develop outstanding teaching and learning which is relevant to schools today and therefore linked to enhanced employment prospects.
We have schools across the NW of England, including BRGS, who are recruiting trainees for the Ripley PGCE programme via UCAS Teacher Training.
