Q. How did BRGS report its news, achievements, pictures, and messages before we had our own website?

A. Through school magazines of course!

Teams of teachers and pupils would get together annually to produce a magazine of entertaining articles and illustrations for the year, but also report news and the school's achievements.

You may have heard of The Squirrel, but before it was The Squirrel, it was named The Journal.

Which is your favourite design? Do you have copy of The Squirrel that is missing off here? If so, we'd love to have a copy of the front cover, for use on our website! Or do you remember being involved with the production of The Squirrel yourself? It would be great to hear about your experiences of being involved with the traditions of our school magazine!
