The theme for Holocaust Memorial Day (27^th January 2013) was Communities Together: Build a Bridge. The BRGS Community joined together under the guidance of history teacher Margaret Stanley to build our bridge of handprints to honour and remember communities destroyed in the Holocaust and in subsequent genocides. Continuing the theme, students are currently "Food raising" to collect non-perishable food items to support local food banks and strengthen our bridge to the local community.
