On Saturday 10th May BRGS held a Centenary Ball with a 1920s theme. Flapper girls with pearls and feathers accompanied by men in spats took over the school hall for the black tie function. The Ball raised over £7,000 towards the School’s Centenary Appeal and was organised by former student Sandii Connolly and a dedicated Events Committee of alumni.  Auctioneer Jamie Hoyland encouraged guests to bid for various experiences ranging from holidays to a year of facials. Guests were entertained by the renowned band The Charleston Chappies.
