National Cheerleading Competition 2014

On Sunday 22^nd June it was the UKCA National Schools Championships and BRGS placed as follows:

• Transitional Street Cheer, KS4 Level 1 - BRGS Street Sapphires 2nd place
• Pom Dance, KS4 Level 1 Large - BRGS Sapphires Black, 3rd place
• Pom Dance, KS4 Level 2 - BRGS Sapphires Silver, 2nd place
• Cheerleading, KS4 Level 2 - BRGS Sapphires Blue, 5th place
• Cheerleading, KS4 Level 3 - BRGS Sapphires Silver, 1st Place

BRGS also won an award for developing the sport of Cheerleading – the Development Cup – which was awarded to former BRGS teacher Kristy Bamber and the BRGS team.  Congratulations to all!
