Year 8 Awards Assembly

Year 8 students had their efforts rewarded today in their annual awards assembly.  

Awards were presented to the following students for 100% attendance over the course of the last academic year:

George Bland, Brady Boardman, Rosie Critchley, Connor Duffy, Emma Foley, Phoebe Johnstone, Elijah Jones, Bethan Loh, Harry Medcalfe, Anna Meeks, Alex Mills, Tom Moulton, Poppy Preece, Hira Salman, Seb Simpson, Isaac Stear, Connor Stretch, Ella Tomlinson and Tilly Vasic. 

ABRSM Certificates were presented to Mary Bryning (Grade 1 Flute), Liam Bye (Grade 2 Guitar), Elizabeth Hopkins (Grade 1 Guitar), Bethan Loh (Grade 3 Music Theory), Lucas Mullender (Grade 1 Clarinet), Hira Salman (Grade 2 Flute), Isaac Stear (Grade 1 Guitar) and Caitlin Swift (Grade 1 Singing).

Form prizes awarded to students with the highest average attitude to learning grades over the course of the year were presented to: Thomas Dorrington and Jessica Howarth (8B), Joseph Nogbou and Emma Travis (8G), Mustafaa Khan and Leah Spencer (8N), Alexander Bebbington and Mary Bryning (8R), Saffron Hedley-Barrett and Tobi Partington (8S) and Molly Hugo and Ibrahim Khan (8W).

Other prizes awarded were The Fred Wild Prize which was presented to Ella Torres and the Hugh Owen Memorial Prize for Attainment (Boys) went to Joseph Nogbou and the Hugh Owen Memorial Prize for Attainment (Girls) went to Suzan Akcora.
