Year 9 Ypres

Whilst on the trip to Ypres:
- Year 9 student Aran Francis found his great, great, great uncle's name engraved on the Thiepval Memorial to the missing of the Somme - Private Percy Tideswell.
- Paul Jackson played The Last Post on trombone as students lay a wreath for Private Percy Horsfield of the Manchester regiment, at Tyne Cot memorial, Ypres. Percy Horsfield of Booth was a former student whose name is read every year at BRGS's Remembrance Service.
- Students found the inscription for former BRGS student Private Ronald Andrew, Cheshire regiment, on the Menin Gate and lay a wreath as part of the daily Last Post ceremony, Ypres.
