Extreme Cake Maker Molly

Former student Molly Robbins (pictured next to one of her creations) demonstrates her extraordinary cake-making skills in Channel 4's Extreme Cake Makers.

Molly and a selection of elite bakers are featured in the programme as they undertake some creative challenges with Molly tasked with designing a life-sized edible cow, a scuba diving dog cake, a keep fit-themed birthday cake, an edible coral reef and much more. 

Molly's degree was in special effects make-up, a talent which she has applied to cake-making.  Many of her cakes are commissions of family pets but they have included pies, pizza and even a cheese board with Stilton and brie!  Hours are spent airbrushing many of the cakes and using different textures of icing to ensure that they look realistic.
