This year fifteen of our top Biology students in Year 13, and one from Year 12 took part in the British Biology Olympiad – a national competition that challenges and stimulates students with an interest in Biology to expand and extend their talents, run by The Royal Society of Biology.  In offering a wider syllabus than A-level, it allows students to demonstrate their knowledge and to be suitably rewarded by the award of medals and certificates. All were awarded certificates for achievement - commended, highly commended, bronze, silver or gold.

Four Year 13 students gained a silver certificate of achievement (Eliza, Olivia, Robert & James) and Sam gained a Gold award.
