A Level Results 2019

Congratulations to all of our A Level students on their results!

This year:

• The percentage of students achieving the top A level grades from A* to B was 58%
• The overall achievement at A*/A was 32%
• 31 students achieved the excellent standard of three or more passes at grade A*/A.  This constitutes 17% of the year group.
• 5 students achieved 3 A* with 2 students achieving 4 A*.
• At least 4 students will be continuing their studies at Oxbridge with 16 students pursuing studies in medicine, veterinary science and dentistry.  A number of students are progressing to STEM-focused courses with many studying diverse courses ranging from law to nursing, sport psychology, business management, equine training, music, journalism and criminology.

“Congratulations to all of our year 13 students on their A level results.  These results reflect their hard work and dedication coupled with the commitment of experienced teachers who have prepared them for these examinations.  We wish our students well as they go on to the next stage of their journey, whether to further study at university, higher level apprenticeships or into employment.”
