Dales Way Challenge

English teacher Mr Foster undertook the Dales Way ultra-marathon in aid of the NSPCC.  Along with three friends, Mr Foster ran the Dalesway from Bowness to Ilkley on the last weekend in June.  It involved three consecutive days of running 26+ miles to cover the total 81 mile distance from Cumbria to West Yorkshire.  

Year 7 and 8 students were involved in a themed quiz linked to the route and the total raised for the NSPCC was £778 with £278 raised by Years 7 and 8 and £500 raised through Just Giving which attracted support from Mr Foster's colleagues and friends.
