LRC Clubs and Events
The LRC organises a busy programme of regular clubs and special events for students to engage with.
CLUBS
Clubs are held during lunchtime in the LC. They are run by the librarian, teachers and other students. They may vary slightly from term to term but often include:
- Book Clubs (for varying year groups)
- Games Club
- Dungeons and Dragons Club
- Creating Writing
- Friday Quiz League
- Graphic Fiction/Manga Cub
- Craft Club
- Book Blogging
- Open Mic
Games Club
Events
As well as its regular activities the LRC also runs a varied events programme. Previous events have included:
- Author visits
- Film Nights
- Harry Potter Night
- Escape Room
- Scavenger Hunt
- Poetry Slam
- National Reading Champions
