The U14 basketball team have again excelled in the Lancashire schools’ competition

The U14 basketball team have again excelled in the Lancashire schools’ competition. They had a convincing win 62 – 30 in the quarter finals against Primet High School and are now through to the semi finals to face a Preston school, Archbishop Temple.

Congratulations to Mollie Campbell who has been asked to join the England Basketball U16’s Development Squad. As part of this commitment, Mollie will be required to attend their training camps and from the squad a team will be selected to represent England in the European Championships. We wish Mollie every success and very much look forward to following her future progress.

Congratulations also to Jake Campbell, Mollie’s brother. He plays for the Manchester Magic U16’s Basketball team and recently received a gold medal when the team won the England Basketball National Sureshot cup.
