Senior Speech Night 2013

Dr. Derek Copley, former student and son of former headmaster, Mr. Bill Copley, was our guest speaker for Senior Speech Night on the 18^th December 2013. Derek's motivational, eloquent and heartfelt speech with a theme of 'inspiration' was extremely well-received by all.

Derek said: "I can do no better than to quote what an interviewee said of Nelson Mandela 'he transformed the lives of those he encountered', and spoke of him as arguably one of the world's most inspiring men of the late 20th and early 21st centuries.  Derek hoped that "each one here will be inspired to...seek with all your heart, selflessly to enrich the lives of others, to make the world around you a better place, however large or small that world may be."
