It was the turn of Year 10 to receive their awards yesterday in their annual awards assembly.

Awards were presented to the following students for 100% attendance over the course of the last academic year:

Ella Brierley, Sam Butterwoth, George Cockcroft, Jasmine Gill, Edward Glover, Casper Kemp, Stephen Rayner, Jerry Schofield, Aoife Sutcliffe, Luke Wales and Lucy Wansbrough.

ABRSM certificates were presented to Zak Ali (Grade 2 Piano), Lewis Barron (Grade 5 Piano), Phoebe Braithwaite (Grade 3 Singing), Chloe Burgess (Grade 5 Music Theory and Grade 5 Singing), Claire Cunliffe (Grade 3 Singing), Lily Dorrington (Grade 3 Singing), Bryonney Duffy (Grade 3 Clarinet), Ieuan Dwyfor-Jones (Grade 6 Trumpet), Jasmine Gill (Grade 5 Singing), Isabella Harding (Grade 4 Singing), Millie Heaton (Grade 3 Singing), Orla Holt (Grade 3 Clarinet), Lami Kaysor (Grade 2 Guitar and Grade 2 Piano), Robert Moffat (Grade 4 Clarinet), Stephen Rayner (Grade 2 Guitar), Darla Stott (Grade 6 Piano) and James Wildsmith (Grade 3 B Flat Cornet).

Form prizes awarded to students with the highest average attitude to learning grades over the course of the year (generously funded by the PTA) were presented to: Orla Holt and Stephen Rayner (10B), Katie Hirst and Robert Moffat (10G), Ieuan Dwyfor-Jones and Katy Sunderland (10N), Edward Glover and Laura Vaughan (10R) and Ella Brierley and Matt Denham (10S).

Other prizes awarded were The Jack Dunham Junior Cricket Prize to Hasnat Shahbaz, The Arkwright Scholarship Prize for KS3 Technology to Alyssa Speight, The Junior Music Shield to Chloe Burgess, The Mary Tomlinson Memorial Cup for outstanding achievement in Art at KS3 to Ruksaan Ali, The Zoe Shadlock Junior Prize for Science to Ella Brierley and finally, The Robin Coulston Art Cup to Molly Partington-Carpenter.
