GCSE Results Day
Following last week’s record success at A-level at BRGS, students are again celebrating outstanding achievements, with our best ever GCSE results. All the year 11 students achieved 5 or more grades at A*-C (99.3% including English and Maths), with over two-thirds (67%) of all grades at the top grades of A*/A and 32% of all grades at A*, an increase of 5% on the previous year.
Burnley College Schools' Debating Competition
Year 10 students Amminah Shafiq, Muskan Kaur, Elizabeth Marney & Lily Mellor participated in Burnley College Schools' Debating Competition.
Art Exhibition 2016
Sixth form art was showcased in our new canopy area which formed the perfect backdrop for some fantastically creative work.
Paris 2016
Year 7 students journeyed to Paris and enjoyed some time at Disneyland Paris.

Sports Day 2016 took place in bright sunshine with some closely fought races.
Maths Challenge National Final
After winning the Regional Final in March, our team participated in the National Final on Monday 20th June. Over 1,700 schools entered the competition with 88 qualifying to take part in the Final.
Brass Band Brilliance
2nd Rossendale Scout Group Band consisting of a number of BRGS students, past and present, played and paraded at the Queen's Scout St. George's Day Ceremony.
