Here at BRGS Sixth Form, students build their own stories.

On Wednesday afternoons, you'll find our Sixth Formers enjoying a range of diverse activities as part of our enrichment programme.  This means allowing students to select from a range of academic, community or sporting options to help them develop as individuals.

We believe education at this stage should be about choice.  From sport or craft activities, to conservation work, our enrichment programme highlights the diversity of interests within our Sixth Form.  We have students embarking on work experience through teaching in local primary schools, and others spending time preparing for the driving theory test; it's all about what benefits each student most.

This afternoon provides an opportunity for some students to follow the EPQ qualification, the opportunity to participate in a Debating Society or Ethical Issues Group for aspiring medics, as well as targeted preparation for those interested in Oxbridge.

We encourage our students to take leadership roles and enlist in extra-curricular activities or anything that interests them and helps to shape their future.  Students can then log these opportunities to include on their university application, or contribute to their CV.

Whatever your area of interest, there is likely to be a group for you - and if there isn't, we'll help you to create it!

Activities organised by students include charity events, sporting activities and social gatherings such as the celebrated Fancy Dress Leavers' Day and Leavers' Ball.  This helps students develop essential organisational skills, and puts you in charge of your own experience at BRGS.
